Chonluten
Also known as: T-34, EDG peptide, Glu-Asp-Gly, Bronchogen
Chonluten is a synthetic tripeptide (Glu-Asp-Gly, EDG) short-peptide bioregulator developed by Vladimir Khavinson and colleagues at the St. Petersburg Institute of Bioregulation and Gerontology. It targets the bronchopulmonary system, where the Khavinson group reports it modulates gene expression in respiratory epithelium via direct peptide-DNA interaction in promoter regions. Evidence is limited to preclinical and small clinical studies from a single Russian research group; it is not FDA-approved and has no Western clinical validation.
